We're thrilled to unveil our banner created by participants from Booth Centre, Greater Together Manchester, and JustLife.
The banner has been created with the help of artist and GTM Mental Health Development Worker Rach Horne, Martin Shaw (GTM) and Thomas (Booth Centre).
This collaborative artwork is the result of months of creativity and dedication, starting in June 2024 with lots of hard work and stitches.
Inspired by the power of "art in action" and craftivism, this project brought people together to design and sew patches that inspire social change. Each section represents a shared effort—some began a design, others added their own stitches, creating a truly collective piece.
The banner's message, "Worth More Than They Say", was sparked by Booth Centre participant Andre’s original design, emphasising the unseen value in human connection.
It’s a powerful reflection of the work that happens daily at Booth Centre, Greater Together Manchester, and other partner organisations—spaces where people are truly seen and heard.
This banner not only represents the voices of our community but also shines a light on the incredible partnership work happening across Greater Manchester.
